I was 9 years old when this car was introduced to the world and I was just blown away by it. The 288 GTO is the car that made me a fan of Ferrari. I’m a Porsche lover first and foremost but would take a 288 GTO in a heartbeat over most Porsche models.

Displacement aside.....is the Lamborghini v12 the successor to the 250 Ferrari unit?.... The engine noise is quite similar with the obvious difference being the Deeper resonance of the Lambo

An aussie here, I remember when Paul Stokell use to race the car in the series called “The Australian Nations cup”. I loved the car because of the sound it use to make compared to anything else on the grid ..I always wondered as well why someone would race such a beautiful car but now knowing it was a factory race car makes perfect sense

i wouldn't have removed the graphics, but durex on the front, 666 racing number, crazy john on the side etc.. a gentleman would not want to drive such a thing. so i'm glad you are removing them plus doing a paint correction

Don’t remove the graphics or make copies and add them back, they are art and vintage
